Adobe CS: Suite-Wide Colour Palette

Brief title for the desired feature:
A Suite-wide colour palette

How would I like the feature to work?
From each App, it should be possible to share the Swatches with a name, and make it accessable for all other apps. (this requires the integration of a Swatches-palette in AE as well!)

Why is this feature important to me?
Because my projects run throughout a lot of CS-apps, all of which have their own way to save colours. I want to have access to project colours from all CS-apps (e.g. when working on a corporate identity, it's annoying to  make the colour palette in all applications serparately)

AE: Persistent render settings per project

Make Projects Remember Render Settings

How would I like the feature to work?
When adding to the render queue, AE should automatically set the last used settings.

Why is this feature important to me?
Because the option to have a Default setting for all projects is not satisfying. We work on a lot of projects at the same time, each with their own specific output settings.

Most of the time we use a specific render setting / codec per project. It would be a real time saver if AE remembers the Render Settings/Output Module per project.
Currently we have to set it again and again; there is only 1 default render setting. In my working environment we make HD, SD, Web, H264 and so on, but these settings are project specific.

Illustrator to Photoshop export - Not enough memory

For some reasons, when exporting complex landscape oriented .ai's (while keeping layers), Illustrator CS5.5 still gives complains about the lack of memory (my Mac Pro has 10gB ram and 2tB HD...)

The workauround, thanks to Brian Corner (in 2002!) is still to rotate a landscape so it becomes portrait. All of a sudden there is enough memory!

Seems to be a very old bug, and if it's not, maybe the software should do this rotate-trick for the user, in the background.

PS 5.5: Please give us a more predictable crop tool, when rotating

Let the croptool remember its orientation. IIn other words: let the upper left corner of the crop-rectangle be the upper left corner of the result. Now, when rotating the crop-area 90 degrees, the result is not predictable. In fact the result is 180 degrees wrong.

AE 5.5: Persistent Output folder

Persistent render destination

How should the feature work?
Let AE remember the folder it is rendering to PER PROJECT

Why is this feature important?
Because I work on several projects all the time, and all of my projects have their own output folder.

InDesign 5.5: Snap to baseline grid

It would be great when the Baseline Grid is magnetic, to perfectly and easy align images to the baseline of text.

UI enhancement: InDesign Corner Options

Choosing the Corner Options menu item in InDesign (which has no keyboard shortcut...) brings up this dialog:

I think the design of this dialog is rather confusing. The four corners are all represented by an upper-left corner. This mistake is compensated by a micro size icon. In my opinion, it would be better and more intuitive to do it this way:

And please let the corner options default to round corners! When we want straight corners, we would not choose corner options... And when straight corners are selected, the size-box should be inactive...

Wow, that's a lot of improvement to make!

When a layer is locked, make it accessible, but not modifyable

Why is this feature important to you?
Because I want to copy a locked layer, or inspect it's parameters, without unlocking it!

1. Activate Proportional grid
2.Activate Snap to Grid
3.See how it not snaps

Results:
A not very usefull grid

Expected results:
Snap to grid makes the proportional grid snappy

Adobe Illustrator Mirror Tool bug / feature request

Wrong mouse pointer icon Mirror Tool
Steps to reproduce bug:
1. Press 'o' (Mirror Tool)
2. Press Alt (Since clickin has no effect without...)
3. See how the mous pointer changes to the delete anchor point icon.

Results:
Confusing interface

A nice line that indicates the mirror axis

AE5.5: Use negative values to generatie Alpha

How should the feature work?
Let the Generate Fill effect stencil alpha by entering negative values.

Why is this feature important?
In this way an object can generate keyframed alpha, which is currently impossible since composite modes are not keyframeable
