Please make Photoshop recognize Illustrator Layers, so we can keep the link to an Illustrator document, while using it's separate layers in Photoshop.
Both InDesign and After Effects have a way to do this, but Photoshop doesn't unfortunately.
Please include this:
-import options to choose which layers are imported and if they should become Photoshop Layers or just a flat single layer
-when imported as a Smart Object, let use choose the layer set at any time
