C4d - simple 'Line'-Object?

 I would like to make use of a simple 'Line' Object. A straight parametrical Spline-line, with two vertices.
Parameters: length, position, rotation.
And it would be great if start and end-point can be given in World coordinates - that would open up a lot of new possibilities!
